Probably the same way I put up with mine, I love them slightly more than I want to strangle them, most days.
    And maybe alcohol.

I'm genuinely curious why you wouldn't wan't to get your best bat up at the plate in the 1st inning? Especially as you have it with Isaac batting 2nd, or even with no one on and two outs I want Yordan up. Long term he only sees 10-15 PA over a season but still......

I mean, have we not been looking at the OF first since Springer bailed? I know have.

Yep, this is a significant moment in the season should we have finally stabilized the rotation.

Correa is a pretty terrible option as cleanup hitter. Definitely much better suited in the 2 hole.

But I get Alvarez being there, if he's gonna have a near .500 OBP.

I would go Sanchez/Walker/Correa in the 4-6 spots, if we are gonna continue to have Yordan 2nd. Correa can help out the bottom 3rd of the lineup by getting on base.

I am hearing a lot of people perplexed about why the Astros haven’t scored more this series with Alvarez and Diaz back and with Correa…. They are all back, but there is no guarantee they will immediately click. I will take the longer term view even if it’s frustrating right now.

Meyers looks like he will be back soon and by default he is better than Melton with the stick.

Paredes is a wildcard, he thinks he can possibly DH in the playoffs. Astros haven’t said much, but they never do.

The last couple weeks are frustrating- we could easily be up 5-6 games. However I would point out things overall look good. Framber, Javier and Arrighetti all have bounced back. Alexander continues to mystify hitters.

Once Meyers is back we really need to stabilize the line up outside of platoon splits.

They’re also just missing very hittable pitches… from the guys expected to hit such pitches.

    Things will even out. Eventually.

By my quick count Correa is 9-30 hitting 4th since rejoining the Stros.

Not interested in doing the math to figure out what's he's done there with runners on.

At least Yordan and Pena didn't have a massive collision

Not sure LF was gonna get to it

But in theory, of course you're correct that it's the OF's ball

That does not take into account who the LF is
