He'll stat pad till the Georgia game... Sark will make sure of it... But the misses were alarmingly bad... Like unbelievably off target

Stage was too big for Arch.

Bottom line: Arch choked like dog. Not only were his throws regularly off-target, he was imitating Cam Newton tossing 10-15 yard throws into the ground. He's better than this; the main problem today was between his ears. On the bright side, going forward, Arch probably won't face a secondary as good as Ohio State's.

The two main game-changers were the two penalties that lead to OSU's first TD and the idiotically blown goal-line opportunity.

UT is every bit as good as Ohio State but they pulled defeat from the jaws of victory.

Thought Arch would play better but that’s about as hard of a game to play in your first start on the road. Sark on the other hand was just plain bad.

    Pain. So much.

I think Arch should get the majority of the blame pie along with Sark. Didn’t think too highly of our O-Line nor or WR group either (Wingo should’ve made some catches he didn’t at crucial times).

Only can go up from here on offense.

Defense was solid outside of the first TD drive for OSU.

Outside of Sark's complete dumbf**ery inside the red zone (seriously, the guy can scheme a great offense for ~90 yards of the field...but then?) and a couple of bad defensive penalties on their first TD drive, UT wins this game. UT wins this game if they play it again in 3 weeks.

Reality check, teachable moments, season ain't over yet.

The defense was fine, but their penalties also hurt. We gave away field position on Ohio State's first touchdown and negated a safety because of them.

Sark didn't help with the offensive play calling/scheme.

No RPOs, for most of the game, the receivers were just going through the motions as if they knew the ball wasn't coming there way because the reads were predetermined.

He looked terrible throwing off platform.

Great scene at the shoe, they were nutting up after that last 3-and-out....

Hope to see them again, but now down 0-2 to the wife in this series

Yeah those darts to teammates ankles 5 yards away, there was little pressure, he just can’t throw accurately, imho, they should polish up the old VY Read option offense until he settles in.

His decision making was slow and bad, couldn’t find the hot outlet on time.

UT coming up short has been the theme in so many big games with Sark. Against UW in the playoffs 2 years ago. Against Georgia and OSU last year. The games were within a possession. Sark can't seem to capitalize on game pivotal moments.

Honestly, how the hell was Arch the number 1 QB 3 years ago, with that lousy form and no touch or reading defenses at all?

I have never seen a hyped player play that badly, everything he did was ****.

I've had my issues with Sarks overly arrogant, cute ass play calls over the years... Especially when up against teams. But blaming him for Manning's ass throws is lazy... Sark wants to show his genius and open the playbook.. That wasn't happening after the first couple throws from the prodigy.. Wide open WRs on the most basic of throws for an average QB.. Sark literally had to shrink the playbook and hope for Arch to wake up while the defense did their thing...
Ohio St efense didn't do anything special till midway through the 3rd.. By that time, they pretty much knew all they needed was a FG and it was over!

Fair point and that type of play from Arch simply won’t cut it. But Sark can’t sit on his hands and just watch it happen for 3 quarters either. Where was the end around to Wingo or TE screen earlier in the game?

UT fans could have it worse. Brian Kelly could be your HC.
