That 3 game series in Toronto hopefully will loom large. We would hold the tiebreaker with just 1 win in that series (we swept them earlier), but taking 2 of 3 might just put us with a chance to get a bye. One can dream.
Certainly looked like 2022 Christian Javier. Do we all of a sudden have 4 dependable starters in the rotation? Can Arrighetti be the 5th?
Yep, had the ol' invisball going on again, 93-94 just working its way up the ladder from about 55' in, sweet to see that again.
I love watching him on the base paths and in the field - but I would rather have a dog fart in my face than see his name in the starting line up.
Correa had a nice post game interview. When asked why he is so good in those situations here, "Approach is key." I was hoping Diaz was listening. Diaz has the swing but he has to change his approach. Then when asked what Yordan brings back to the lineup: " I like to call it the Fear Factor. Pitchers careful not to make a mistake."
We had a 13 year old 120lb American Bulldog named Otis (tow truck driver name) that I promise would may make you rethink that. He literally drove 15 adults out of a living room during a New Years Eve party. To this day the second foulest smell right behind a newborns full #2 that I've come across.....
Javier returning to form would be a game changer. The lineup and rotation top 3 would both easily have enough to win another WS. It's just a matter of getting it clicking at the right time.
Correa is the ultimate MLB player gamesman. He's so cerebal, tactical and just ****ing calm between the lines, hoping he retires an Astro and we get him in the booth for us if not nationally.
