With Yordan back the lineup is plenty good enough to win it all. And the 2 headed monster at the top of the rotation will make them competitive in any series. Question will be 3rd SP and bullpen behind Abreu.
The additions by Dana at the deadline were incredible. Sanchez, Urias, Correa. If one of Arrighetti or Javier step up we have as good a chance as anybody to win it all. Paredes and/or Meyers coming back and effective would make us pretty close to favorites.
Arrighetti seems to have righted the ship. I'm hoping Javier is next - both of them have enough starts to get it together before the playoffs. Optimistically excited for both of them - and Alexander to be our 5th/long reliever in the playoffs?
Could be excited about the fact we don't have to watch McCullers start a game...I assume any game he comes into in the near future is probably going to be a loss regardless so that's better
That’s what I meant by if they get some luck (say Hader makes it back and Javier finds consistency) they could make noise in the playoffs. They won’t be the best team, but have enough of a core.
