I've not seen it but supposedly he made an appearance on Soul Train in a tie dye. He was nothing like George Jefferson. He was an under-rated actor and human. He had a big heart and was super kind to his fans. "In 1999 Hemsley collaborated with Yes lead singer Jon Anderson on an album, Festival of Dreams, but it was not released".

Luckily they flubbed the trade deadline by not doing enough to solve the bullpen issues and definitely needed another dynamic bat. But hey they got Kelly.
Other teams pad stats v Rockies. We either lose or burn whole BP to get series win. Without Framber finally coming up good this easily might have been sweep for Rockies plus our BP in shambles. We have to try get first 2 off Angels facing Mr. Anderson(with that voice) and Hendricks because the 3rd one is Hunter v the sick 99mph sinker baller Soriano. I have trust Spaghetti keeps improving and we will beat softball pitcher Hendricks but Javier v Anderson I fear. Javier walks 5, with nicely rested off day Neto and Ward homer and as righthanded we are....we don't crush limpy dick lefty. Maybe take page out of Red Sox Cora playbook and use 1st base coach to beat Anderson.
Astros 7-1 in starts by Alexander, including a perfect 5-0 in the month of August. It truly is the summer of George.
The Astros went 5-2 against Baltimore and Colorado. That would be a 116 win pace for the season. They did what they needed to do and people are like if the good players didn’t play good the Astros would have lost some of those games. This team is not a 100 win juggernaut, but good enough to get to the playoffs. They are flawed, but if they get lucky, they have enough of a core they might make some noise in the playoffs. Set your expectations appropriately.
