Back to reasonable - nice! And b/c it's relevant to the topic, I'll add the below. Sengun driving from the FTLine/top of key area is ~ MVP level outcome. I think it's b/c his passing angles are available to both sides and it introduces an easier outlet to either the dunkers spot or the far corner vs other starting points of attack.
Larkin is an elite playmaker in FIBA/Euroleague. Breaks down defenses and creates advantages. Believe me, this Turkey team would have no chance at medals without him, regardless if he doesn't play amazing today. After Sengun, he was one of the biggest reasons (together with Osman and Sipahi) Turkey beat Latvia in their first game.
Alpi is simply everywehere right now and he really has that Jokic-like ability to predict events and position himself accordingly.
I’m hoping Durant opens up the floor enough to let Sengun and Amen playmake. If Ime can become a little more creative on the offensive side of the ball, we could bring a different look almost every half court possession. He really, really needs to get FVV off the ball. Amen and Sengun should spend a lot of extra time in the off-season and pre-season working on PnR. Durant, Jabari, FVV, Reed, DFS spotting up for wide open 3’s off of an Amen/Sengun PnR could be incredible.
I guess he will miss the triple double. A TD in a fiba game is no joke. He really played his heart out. And the Czech played very hard after their loss to Portugal. But Alpi simply was too dominant for them.
Alpi was so dominant you couldn’t ask for any more (except maybe one more assist). Next up is Portugal tomorrow.
