Other factors certainly play a role in elevating their risk level, including that they’re more likely to be sex workers or to be homeless and that large swaths of the general population routinely demonize them. But let’s return to your claim. That trans people are more violent than non-trans people on average, and in particular are more prone to commit mass shooting. Let’s suppose that the data shows among mass shooters that self-identifying trans people are disproportionately represented (e.g. 2% out of only 1% of population). What conclusion can be reasonably drawn from that?

I'm good with passing a statute that prohibits trans people from 1) buying weapons of war; 2) buying guns without a background check and waiting period; and 3) closing the gun show loophole.
