Trump is all-in wrt going after John Bolton.

What do you think the odds are that the DoJ who has a track record of winning 90+% of their cases are?
    10%? 1%?

If you were paying attention in Trump's first term, you would have noticed that Trump went after his political enemies.

If John Bolton broke the law he should face the consequences of that.

I think you miswrote this question. If you're asking what do I think the odds are the Trump administration successfully brings and prosecutes these cases like against Lisa Cook? I don't know I'm not privy to the evidence but I do know the feds have a very high conviction rate.

What are examples of Trump "going after his political enemies" via the judicial system in his first term?

I flubbed the question. What are the odds that the Trump DoJ gets their man John Bolton? Damn ner zero is my guess.

    Google AI says
Donald Trump's Department of Justice (DOJ) launched multiple investigations related to Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation, often driven by pressure from Trump himself. These probes continued for years, but ultimately closed without charges.

To no one's surprise you were not paying attention.

There hasn't been a trial, indictment, or even a charge filed, but they are guilty?

That is a brilliant articulation of the legal standard for firing a Fed reserve. Yes, it is perfectly ok, so long as “it appears” that she broke the law.

    you are on a roll.

Biden stutters a little bit during a press conference - 2-3 week media frenzy.

Trump can't walk in a straight line, has bruises on his hands, has cankles, claims that magnets are a Chinese plot that's only 20 years old? Crickets

Democrats were out to get him because he committed crimes.

As for Cook, if she is convicted for fraud, I have no objections to her removal even though her prosecution is politically motivated. At least Trump would have gone through the steps. If they can get a conviction of John Bolton for hilariously committing the same crime that Trump did, he has only himself to blame. Democrats at least had tried to prove their allegations to a jury of peers in criminal court. Trump just wants to leverage the allegation and investigation as a punishment unto itself.

And Republicans are out to get Lisa Cook because she committed crimes.

There’s no difference. Both are politically motivated.

This was information available to Congress prior to her confirmation. It would be similar to prosecuting all the Trump SC picks that assured us Roe vs Wade was settled law.

No president has ever fired a member of the Fed board. Let's compare oranges to watermelons while we're at it...
