I read that this is the 9th mass shooting perpetrated by a member of the trans community -- is that accurate? If so, then the statistical correlation between being trans and committing acts of violence is off the charts. Wondering if this is tied to some sort of hormonal/chemical imbalance or the use of anti-depressant drugs... But something is DEFINITELY wrong mentally with many transgender people and we need to be mature enough to explore the details in an objective manner.

What I have called myself is a registered Democrat, which continues to be a true statement despite complete strangers calling me a liar for stating that fact. I will also acknowledge that I'm probably more "center-right" than most posters here. What I find amusing (actually I find it dismaying) is that many of the younger, lefty-liberal, progressive Democrat types on this forum continue to downplay/ridicule/ignore/malign/impugn/character assassinate etc etc etc a forum member whose main sin appears to be being a conservative Democrat. And as far as right wing talking points, I'm not sure I'd know much about that. I don't really pay attention to right-wing pundits outside of the NY Post and WSJ. If views that I express happen to overlap with what you are calling "right wing talking points," then I cannot help that. I suppose you could call that a convergence of ideas.
