Texans trade John Metchie to Eagles

Wish H-Town fans were as passionate and I'm a long time Houston sports fan.

 

[Schefter] Texans released TE Harrison Bryant, whom they acquired from the Eagles as part of last week’s trade for WR John Metchie.

 

Nick just wanted his 6th rounder back

GREAT! Was it to the 53 or to the practice squad?

I was devastated when both BRYANTs were cut. after an expectation of TWO on the roster.

 

He's on the 53

 

Anything about a corresponding move yet? Or do the Texans have until the end of the day?

 

I'm still wondering if he signed a PS Contract since he didn't have to pass through waivers as a 4 year vet. That gives Caserio a chance to trade a player still on the 53. But vets on a PS is fairly new.
