People have no idea how huge Chicago really is and how ridiculous a military deployment is to a city this sprawled out. OKC is achievable to control at least the downtown areas. Chicago… you MIGHT be able to establish enough presence to control Wacker to 55 inside the river. Even that is kind of an insane task that would take probably 200k troops.

This is why when a superpower invades a country’s major city like Baghdad they have to first do a shock and awe bombing campaign. They have to do that to move people into more consolidated areas, and cutoff access points in and out. Without a true military deployment with bombing or at least cutting off access in and out of the city, this deployment will be pointless.

I’m guessing Trump will just be sending national guard troops to specific streets only and just be looking for photo ops. I suspect they’ll be send to Division street or Wrigleyville to try and get a photo op of someone blackout drunk who throws their Vienna hot dog at a cop or something.

Will they go to the south side… probably not because the crime that’s there is sprawled out over miles of city blocks and it’s not like they won’t see their a$$es coming. Are they gonna go door to door to confiscate guns?? Like shah is the actual mission here???

The American public SUPPORT this move by Trump. They SUPPORT lowering crime. Anyone with a brain would not walk their family through some ugly parts of American cities... and imagine if you had to live there and endure crime and violence on a daily basis. Democrat leaders at the local level have utterly failed in protecting their communities. Trump is turning that around -- on behalf of the people who live there. Democrats are mad because it could give Trump a big political victory if it works out... which is sad because they'd rather those people live in a den of crime than for Trump to be right about something. The Democrats who think like this are truly horrible people.

They also had one week stretches in April and May.

 

I've never once heard him blast Oklahoma about their crime. Just goes to show his military intimidation tactics are all political theater. He's testing the waters of how far he can bend and break the laws of our country without being stopped, and his loyalist enforcers of Secretary of Defense, AG, the FBI, and Homeland Security/ICE, are all willing participants in this. They all need to be held accountable.

 

Yep, we need a Nuremberg trial to hold all these traitors accountable.
