This is ALWAYS the case for their home games.

I really think MLB should investigate. And I'm not one to even complain when the calls don't go our way. But what's happening in Seattle is criminal.

You see him peacock on his tying HR earlier?

    Loved him failing there.

Still pisses me off that the Astros didn’t jump on Randy Arozerena last year before the deadline and let the Mariners swoop in and get him for not a lot.

    Hell yea A’s.

Astros 3 up feels REAL nice after the last couple weeks.

    Win for us tomorrow too.

Would be nice to have a 4 game lead when our lord and savior Yordan returns on Tuesday.

There are more than several really good field umpires in MLB, it's not an easy job. There are very few good HP umps. Bring on the robots.

I only watched the 10th inning so can't speak to the rest of the game but I will say the umpire didn't give either pitcher the call on the bottom of the zone. It cost the A's three strikes (including a should have been K on Crawford) though compared to just one for the Mariners.

They do pick up a lot of strikes because Cal is a good pitch framer - when Garver catches the stats show they do not so it does help support that Cal is just good. Yainer is not good at it. Fortunately the challenge system is coming and this will matter a lot less.

Astros seem to have issues closing out a sweep so not expecting much tomorrow. Especially with Spaghetti arm up. Hoping for another Seattle L either way.

Avoided a bigger disaster with Nolan Arenado rejecting the Stros, who is 7th on the Cardinals RBI list this year. We probaly wouldn't be talking Correa.

Why can't Melton do this and then show off his wheels on the basepaths?

Rogers has been the best pitcher in baseball since he was called up this season. He's given up 1 run or fewer in 7 of his last 8 starts while going 6.2+ innings in 6 of those. That other start was 2 runs over 6 innings. The last four teams he faced were the Cubs, Phillies, Mariners, and Red Sox so we aren't talking about a guy racking up stats against garbage teams either.

Obviously they play the games for a reason but we're at a huge disadvantage here with the pitching matchup.
