Oriole fans are so ****ing mad

they won 101 games 2 years ago.

they were awesome the 1st 3 months last year then went .500 rest of the way.

Then this year they have been ass all year. Yes they have had tons of injuries but fans were expecting to be in the WS by now and they are deadline sellers in last place

I don't know he looks like a young Hunter Brown who had to figure out HOW to use his stuff.......but the stuff was great.

I'm kind of amazed that the Stros aren't having that same type of season

That was what I thought the plan should have been. You ease him into the closer role as Pressly ends his contract. It seemed to be perfectly set up. Effectively would have taken over this year had they gone that route. Save the 20 million for a really good bat. But that didn't happen.

The "vaunted" Dodgers lineup got schooled by a struggling Yu Darvish last night and now Nestor Cortez of all people tonight.

    You love to see it.

No way in hell the Dodgers are repeating.

The Padres can limit games to just 5 innings with that insane bullpen. That's a winning formula.

with 2 runs. A 4.50 era. Good enough for today. All that matters. I think he shows promise.

Outside of the 13 game winning streak with Valdez on the mound, we are 2-10 in his other 12 starts.

The Astros are a remarkable 41-39 with starting pitchers not named Brown or Valdez.

    14 Gusto
    13 Gordon
    12 McCullers
    9 Walter
    9 Blanco
    7 Alexander
    6 Wesneski
    5 Arrighetti
    3 Javier
    1 Blubaugh
    1 Okert

If somebody showed you that list you'd guess we are fighting to see if we can avoid finishing last in our division.

Astros fans aren't appreciative enough of our consistency. Baltimore and Atlanta were both supposed to mid dynasty this season and they won't even sniff the play in series.

Unless you have a bottomless war chest like LA or the Yankees....it's hard to always be good. This team has every reason to be bad this season with this injury disaster..yet here we still are.

It's a must sweep vs the Rockies coming up. Then you just try to win series after that and avoid any sweeps.

If he wants to toil in the minors next year seeing if he can reinvent himself - I don’t have an issue with that. Most of the time pitchers don’t adjust, but some do and can be effective. Lance hasn’t even pitched from the pen yet.

Gimme Doug Jones. Espada would love him. Ole Doug threw like 120 innings one year for the Astros as a closer and complained to the manager that he wanted to pitch more. Great pitcher largely forgotten.

He would be like a pig in slop on this Astros team coming in and pitching 2-3 innings at a time.

He did look very good before he got hurt - but he has unfortunately been unplayable since coming back up.
