I was talking position players, and obviously based on our discussion of Basallo that your chance of playing catcher in the majors throwing left are pretty miniscule. So "basically" you're playing 1B or OF as a position player. So if balls were hit exactly half the time to your right and half the time to your left, why would it be an advantage to throw left handed or right handed? Catcher might have to do with most batters being right-handed and you don't want a left-handed catcher trying to throw out runners.
