[Official] Texans Offseason Thread

Major props to Graham Mertz for a great 1st half. I can't believe he played that well. He looked totally in control, like shooting fish in a barrell.

My impression was Kedon Slovis had a big lead on Mertz going into this game, but we'll see.

 

That was on the LS, and not saved by the holder/punter. the ball wasn't there for Fairbairn.

 

This may be a decision of keeping two QB's on the practice Squad.

 

I don't think they'll do that. One practice squad QB is enough.

 

Whoever said SP Teams looks like butt cheeks is correct.

Cornell Powell was 4/4 with 52 rec yards in the 1st half, but the Texans just signed him Wednesday.
Does he have a legit chance to make the practice squad? Does playing in the 1st suggest they are taking a serious look at him?

 

Not Fairbairns mistake. Neither hold was good enough for Townsend to get it down.

 

Mertz is more decisive and accurate than Slovis

 

I believe both Powell and Winfree have 4 qualified seasons and become FAs if not on the 53.

Dillon Gabriel looked pretty good today and Shedeur has totally imploded (so far).

 

I just noticed the first game of the year is 2 weeks away and not next week. Good gawd man, just start the ****ing season already.

 

Last weekend, the rebroadcast of the Game on Channel 13 (Houston) was just after Midnight.

This weekend, the rebroadcast might start just after 12:30 AM.
