To have problems with all three says something. At what point to we acknowledge that Durant was at least part of the problem?

If it was just with Draymond I could give it a pass. But how to we ignore the Nets coaching/FA fiasco that Durant clearly played a large role in? What about to OKC exit?

Not really when all 3 are total douchebags.

If he was having problems with people who don't have that reputation, it would be more relevant. No one likes Westbrook, Draymond, or Kyrie.

    Ah homerism….lol

There’s a reason why Durant’s market was just two teams, despite his offensive talents.

Is this trolling? No one can be this dumb.

There was only 2 teams going for him because he publicly stated that he wouldn't sign an extension with all but 2 teams...plenty of teams expressed interest, but then KD shot down those proposals.

yup. Snaked wb and okc, got punked by draymond and couldnt stand up to kyrie while he actively sabotaged their team

Everything points to KD being a spineless coward with 0 leadership skills

golden state couldn’t have been bad because they won championships with KD and also tried very hard to get him back at the deadline.

brooklyn was 3 combustible personalities, but Kyrie was only playing half the games on account of his anti-vax crusade, Harden got frustrated and asked for a trade, then KD followed. Certainly can’t blame that on KD.

KD did not blow up the Suns. The Suns were not good enough because they didn’t build a good team. They realized they needed to retool around a younger Booker and tried to trade KD at the deadline without looping in KD’s people. Then it was clear a divorce was inevitable.

im not a fan of KD off the court. Seems like a curmudgeon. But trying to hang a poison pill rep on him is off base.

I don’t think he needs to be a leader and I don’t think he needs to physically exert himself and put himself in danger to generate offense for himself or others.

he needs to shoot over people and make the right pass created by his gravity. he should be able to do that without physically, putting himself in a lot of scenarios where he can get injured.

Between Ime, Fred and the fact that the other players in our rotation are fairly mature, he doesn’t need to be the galvanizer.

    More homerism lol.

Plenty of teams have called players bluff on extensions before. Nobody was willing to do that with Durant because of his age, injury history and drama history.

Golden State: The issues with Draymond and the pouting afterwards are well documented. I give him credit for laying it on the line and rupturing his Achilles trying to win.

Brooklyn: Pushed out Kenny Atkinson for Nash. Pushed for the signing of a washed up Jordan. Attempted to have Nash fired until the front office told him and Kyrie to go fly a kite.

Phoenix: Pushed for the trade for a washed up Bradley Beal with a NTC, setting that franchise back for the next 5 years at least.

Certainly not a locker room cancer but there’s enough there to have some serious concern for off court drama.
