The Deep State is a network of unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats that believe they run the country, independent of who is in office, and bypassing democratic processes. It's even better for the Deep State when the President or other key power-holders are under blackmail control by the intel agencies... then they can truly control what happens. The Deep State includes the intel agencies, State Department, certain members of DOJ, staff at various agencies, and more. Trump is taking apart the Deep State, and in so doing, restoring democracy to America.
