Trump says that the Smithsonian is focused too much on how bad slavery was. I guess it's because he wants everyone to be slaves to the oligarchs.

A large part of what makes America great is we can look back at our past and see how F`d up some of it was, to try and whitewash the warts away doesn't make what we did go away. We celebrate the good times and recognize where we went wrong and display that, so people don't forget, and we make the same mistakes again. Sorry, if you try and say that "slavery wasn't all that bad" you probably have some pent-up racism inside your soul, so any old white dudes and gals who would like to put their money where their mouth is, let's get you down on a cotton farm down in Alabama and let you be owned by another human who treats you like ****, live in an old shack with scraps the plantation owner gives you, and then for nightly entertainment they will visit you at night to sleep with your woman and then take you out back and whip you. Then come back and tell your buddies how it "wasn't" that bad How do his cronies like Tim Scott feel about this, LOL, who am I kidding, Tim Scott would be the first one to tell us it wasn't as bad as you think

Again, why try to whitewash History? People who don't remember and understand history are DOOMED to repeat it. They have NO PROBLEM reminding people of color of bad things done in the past by them. They literally want to blame slavery on people of color. AND slavery was doing them a favor by teaching them "skills"....LOL.
I certainly dont think like this. However this is the best country in the world for minorities to live in. Dont believe me, look at how many got in the country during Biden's open border yrs. They came here for a reason.

America has ALWAYS been better for immigrants. What does that have to do with trying to eliminate the teaching of history at MUSEUMS? Slavery is part of this country's history. If you want people to move on from the legacy of it, you have to study and understand it. Same with anything. Trying to hide it only extends the painful legacy of it.
