Considering most top tier starting pitchers stayed put this deadline, its probably safe to assume, not enough.

The Mariners just gave up 29 runs in a 3 game series against the Phillies.

The season is 162 games long. As bad as the Astros have been since July, they are still leading their division by 2 games in the loss column and ahead of every wild-card team but the Yankees (tied).

This is one of the weakest seasons ever in MLB history for not having top flight division leaders.

Milwaukee might be the only team that reaches 95 wins.

The World Series is seriously up for grabs.

It was just a few short years ago we almost broke the record for most 100 win teams in one season.

I have zero hope for Garcia. His velo is down and he’s coming off of too long of a layoff. If the playoffs started today my picks for Game 3 and 4 starter would be Javier and Blubaugh. Alexander has been effective but has the look of a pitcher who gets destroyed in the playoffs once a team is locked in and focused on dissecting the pitcher; France and Gordon also fall in that category. Arrighetti has just not had it, but there’s a chance he’s just knocking off rust, hence his next couple of starts being very important. Blubaugh was borderline dominant in his last big league start and he’s got the stuff to make it thru a lineup twice in a playoff game. McCullers is a 1 pitch pitcher who needs to go to the bullpen until he gets hurt again at which point he can retire.

He's gonna use those pitching stats in arbitration.
Probably the most WAR he has generated this season.

we'd still be scoreless if dubon didn't connect on that one swing. did we break any records on that scoreless streak?

Guardians with a devastating loss after trying to close it out in the 9th.

So there's some more good news. Now we just need KC to lose tonight.

Kyle Tucker being benched for the 3rd straight game.

    Yowza.

    Nobody saw this coming.

Tucker might want to ditch his agent and hire Scott Boras.

Since August 1 when the Astros and Mariners "improved" themselves:

    7-11 Houston
    10-8 Seattle

790 is anticipating 2 players returning to the lineup on Tuesday.

One of which took 16 swings in a game yesterday.

So there's an opening and they want their old one back? Can we trade him for Marte?
