I rationalized the Espada strategy as "intentional randomization". Possibly some advanced numbers to back up not assigning set spots. Like lineup movement is fresher non-stagnance. How else can the lineups rarely have consistency? But it seems the bad aspect of that approach. That it shuffled the team OUT of getting into a groove lol. A bottom 3 offense despite more major league bat additions, yeah maybe steady some lineup spots more. (The pitching, just, damn)
Is this what is about to happen? Cleveland doing their darndest to get us into 3rd wild card. First 2, NY & Boston face each other, we face 3rd best div winner being Seattle? And if it goes like that, has that happened before meaning getting both serieses from league WC round as div rivals facing each other? Record says we should't be here with these injuries so yay Espada, but same as last season....have been watching every game and every decision like oh fk why no don't please stop......oh we won tight one again. Like screaming to friend you can't call with 30% draw 10k bet on 1k pot and the fkr keeps hitting it on river smirking....you see 4D chess mate. Until he did't anymore .
Dam, we just suck right now, it seems like we haven't scored a run in a month.........................dog days of summer for sure. Did I mention we absolutely suck right now. Hunter was fantastic and the pen gave it away AGAIN.......................PS, we suck right now
Charlie Morton another pitcher we should have inquired about, has an 8-3 record and a 3.66 ERA since May 10.
If he's feeling ok Yordan should be up ASAP none of this waiting around till the Astros are back in Houston nonsense. Get him on a private jet to BAL immediately.
I guess I feel a bit better after seeing what the umps saw when they called DIaz out. He did indeed hit the catcher's mitt before putting his hand on the plate. The loss still sucks, but at least I don't feel like they were robbed.
He did, with the tip of his sliding mitt, go back and watch, you'll see it. I missed it at first too.
