That's not smart. Nancy Pelosi gets in early before we know (45 day rule) then gets out and leaves us bag holding. I have 1 share of tempus AI that's still down big time.
right after the most important earnings week, when AMZN/MSFT/GOOG/AAPL, etc, reported, the summer doldrums begin. sold this 190-point credit spreand and collected premium of $104, defining my max risk to be $86 with the $SPX (S&P Large Cap Index) trading ~~$6,231. down 108, using the 8-28-25 expiration, i am betting that the SPX will close below 6,200 at expiration, risking $86 to win $104 buy to open 6,390 strike CALL sell to open 6,200 strike CALL
One is a master of speaking to smart people and keeping things positive. The other speaks to the dumb (which is arguably more valuable if making money (personally) is your goal).
lol i just saw who you were responding to. what a stupid stupid human he is. as expected he came to defend his savior. "always sucked" all the way to being the 1st or 2nd most valuable company in the world for the past many years.. As of August 2025 Microsoft has a market cap of $3.911 Trillion USD. This makes Microsoft the world's 2nd most valuable company by market cap according to our data.
constructed a bullish CALL spread for this undervalued, yet profitable and cash rich, AI play. unlike NVDA and AMD, it is not involved in the mfg of chips. unlike AMZN/MSFT/GOOGL, it does not invest heavily on building humongous data centers IBM is heavily involved with helping clients (thru its consulting/SW/HW arms) to integrate AI enterprises solutions in the July earning release, IBM beat EPS estimates, but SW revenue was slightly below estimate, causing the stock price to drop ~~ 20%, from 290 to ~ 230, with a gap down from 280 to 260. since then, the stock price has risen to ~~240, but still below the 20 DMA, near the 50% retracement level; my amateurish read of the technicals says that IBM will close the 260/280 gap before the next ERS in mid-Oct when it was trading ~~ 240---using Dec 2025 expiration---bought this 35-point bullish CALL spread buy to open the 235 strike CALL sell to open the 270 strik CALL net cost of $13.80
Anybody buying the “September Slowdown” dip? I couldn’t resist adding some Palantir and Nvidia. Two day selloff seems overdone here.
