Oops, I checked the first two pages on the forum and did not see this topic. I used search to find the last Wall topic but missed those posts lol, sorry.
Tank commander who gifted us yung Jalen that allowed us to trade for old Kevin We solute you Also, I guess we just had some people who didn’t want to be here in the NBA anymore
I seem to remember J Lin claimed to have outplayed him in summer league . . . perhaps @tinman can confirm
The thing I'll remember most about John Wall is how insecure and ego-driven he became when Brad Beal started to emerge on the Wizards. He felt the need to maintain alpha dog status on that team. One time they were playing against LeBron and the Wizards had the ball for the final shot. Of course, since LeBron was guarding Wall, he was the worst possible option to take the shot. He wasn't about to give up the ball. LeBron made him look like a complete fool, he didn't even get off a FGA and whined to the refs about getting fouled.
I was looking at the 2010 Draft and I believe only one player is left, Paul George. Aside from that, all 59 gone. PG13 doesn't seem too far behind.
John Wall has got to be one of the quickest loud mouths in history but unfortunately he was not the quickest player no more......too broken down by injuries.
Calling out the status quo of sucking is warranted, I think he overdid it .....but yeah the Rockets should have gotten younger players for Russell Westbrook. Acquiring players like Wood, Wall, Cousins and Oladipo on their last legs.....I was never for it even if some of them are just expirings. Schroeder and Theis ......for extremely temporary flare up.
Those years were your true calling to Rockets fandom. You've risen through the ashes and you're still here. Embrace your love for those years, Kelly and most of all... John Wall.
