Troops are almost always stationed at the border -- especially that border. The invasion happened shortly after the Strategic Cooperation Agreement was announced. No one died from putting troops at the border. They did die from the invasion.

Troops are not always stationed at the border. Putin ordered more than 200k troops to the border in the summer/fall of 2021 before any agreement was signed with UKR. You know what you're repeating is false yet you keep repeating the same recycled garbage.

So many seem to think that the only people with agency here are Putin and Trump and that Zelensky is an afterthought. But that is far from the reality.

Every Ukrainian parent and relative of a Ukrainian kid spirited away to Russia has a say. Every Ukrainian who has been raped or had a loved one raped has a say. Every Ukrainian who has been subject to Russian war crimes has a say. You have a whole populace that has been fighting a war for years while confronting death and being subjected to depredations--they will all have a say. They all know what it will mean to be under Russian rule. A paper signed some in fancy spot means nothing if it gives away the farm. The war will not stop for Ukrainians unless Russia stops it by backing out of Ukraine, including Crimea. Ever.

Trump is LEADING -- bringing global leaders together today to try to achieve peace. Biden could never do what Trump is doing today... and in fact Trump is cleaning up Biden's disastrous foreign policy, including how Biden sparked the war in Ukraine.

It's both shocking and saddening that liberals are so outraged at these peace talks. Liberals want forever war and they just can't bring themselves to admit that Biden's policy failed... and Trump is the guy fixing the problem. Harris would have been laughed at by these leaders -- America dodged a bullet there... and now we have the strongest leader in the world conducting our diplomacy.

"According to reports" -- LOL, no cred for multiple reasons (no source #1, and #2, believing journalists are objective). European leaders want to be a part of Trump's peace summit and they know that Trump is LEADING and they want to be where the action is in an effort to play a role in the outcome. And they are worried Zelensky is not strong enough to negotiate with Trump. Trump is leading the world right now and liberals sit around and nitpick about little tiny stuff (carpet, facial expressions, etc)... and all the while Trump is cleaning up the absolute mess that Biden made internationally... Liberals are just so out of touch. And they want forever war, whereas Trump and MAGA wants peace.

How about we put a stop to the death, destruction, and financial catastrophe that has been the war in Ukraine? It's shocking how liberals want the status quo on these things... and liberals would rather have Ukrainians die in trenches than hand Trump a foreign policy win.
