I’ve been saying the cherry on top is that the young players get to soak up and pick up his habits. It’s like having a built in shooting specialist, dribbling specialist, BBall IQ Savant specialist on the team. If Amen, Sengun, Jabari can improve those areas by just 25% we already got additional value from Durant on top of his actual production.
I am still confused why Kevin Durant didn't want to play with Prime James Harden on the Rockets with Chris Paul, Eric Gordon, Trevor Ariza, Clint Capela, Luc Mbah Moute, Coach Mike D'Antoni, offense couldn't be stopped. 2016 was the year when Kevin was a Free Agent. Kevin Durant narrative would be completely different.
Uh, in 2016 he signed with prime Steph Curry in GS and he proceeded to win 2 championships, where he was the finals MVP. On paper, it's hard to argue he made a bad choice. lol.
He wanted to join forces with the team that just beat him and it came at a price. Basically traded away respect from the Worriers and Thunder for 2 championships. A lot has to do with his annoying personality also.
Kevin Durant is still not happy with that choice either, Draymond Green and Steve Kerr don't like him. Kevin Durant winning a Championship with James Harden and Chris Paul would've been amazing for all of their careers.
Steve Kerr liked KD enough to want him last year instead of Jimmy Butler. What in the world makes you think KD regrets playing for the Warriors?
They are cool off the court though. KD is easily distraught over communication or lack thereof in the locker room.
Draymond may be why he did not re-sign, but to assume he regretted ever playing there after winning two championships is your imagination.
