    Melton has “defensively replacement”, “pinch runner” written all over him. I hope I am wrong because outside of being good at hitting, he can do it all. I don’t like him starting all the time.

    Yeah they’ve got to get Meyers and Yordan back. Tired of seeing guys like Trammell in the lineup everyday.

    "Outside of being good at hitting" is like "Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?"

    I bet Melt is a great clubhouse guy and super nice dude. Bring him back up when he figures out this hitting thing.

    I know… he can be magic on the bases and a plus centerfielder - but if he can’t hit “ok”, he will be on Facebook with Brett Wallace offering hitting lessons to rich 10 year olds.

    Im not ready to dump him, he has always taken awhile to adjust - but he doesn’t need to be starting in the middle of August.

    He should try to drag/push a bunt to 1B/3B every other AB. Get the IF in and then start slapping stuff around like Brett Butler.

    Hey,, the Astros did score 4 runs in regulation. That is kinda mid.

    Just looking at the box score and the bullpen
    7: King
    8: Sousa, Ort
    9: Abreu
    10: Okert
    11,12: Del Los Santos

    Outside of Abreu, that is 5 pitchers, whose prior non-Astros experience, does not inspire confidence. All reclamation projects. None of whom from the consensus opinion would be seeing significant PT on a playoff team.
