Team seems so unprepared for these expect to win face 5th starter with 5era or worse. Some have said it already but it's worth repeating. I have been saying all season I can't understand the aproach of swinging blindly for all 3 strikes or out asap no matter the situation. I have been told many times how wrong I am and stats say you should swing as early as possible and it's just bad roster. With better players this would be perfect aproach. Lot of teams study pitcher, have a gameplan and be agressive early on certain pitches. We swing at everything whole AB's, Espada hails agressiveness on wins and says oppo SP was world beater on losses. Other teams feel if you are scrub, you make 1000% effort to have effective AB. Astros feel if you are **** so swing eyes closed and you run into one sometimes. Espada is like Boone light. No accountability either but the other atleast rages on field like clown for his players. Ours lets J. Valentine fk us in the a*s as much as he wants with no complaints. Start of the season Toronto and Milwaukee have no star studded lineups. But they fight and make contact. Murphy even benches clear starting 9 players for continued low IQ AB's with backing of FO and captain/senior players. What kind of player would Diaz be in Milwaukee? League wide star or he would be in minors for not understanding what is required of him. Is Altuve the problem? Not as player but as example of stupid play, base running and often horrible AB's. If one would demand 100% effort and smart play from team, should Altuve be sanctioned too? If you have been star for decade playing stupid, you can be exempted and keep playing stupid. This is not real combining efforts team sport like hockey or soccer where you can break team plan, rules and give the game away with bad play and attitude again n again. BB is team game with mostly played by singular individual efforts. You can give a pass to one anomaly future hof guy playing stupid but effecting the score positively still for us. The first half with the pitching we had, how unreal often BP did hold the leads, Im starting to feel we were pretty lucky this season. Yeah we were unlucky to have injuries but lucky to win what we had. Now we don't have that pitching and offense looks like what it is. Just a stupid rant born of watching Astros doing suprisingly well playing like complete r*tards night after night .
Fk that **** Just cause his career at Ohio State he always won till it mattered, which is very Mariner like, but na bro, GTFOH with that ****
Not at all. Could have gone either way. It will be really good news if he’s pain free tomorrow, it’s ok structurally and they send him out on a rehab.
