It's exactly that level of "dumbass"

"Oh No, what does NOAA actually do?"

    What a ****ing idiot.

As usual, a storm comes through overnight and Kingwood is in shambles. Power was out until about 11:45 this morning, another tree limb down in my backyard, limbs down all over the main roads, power out at all businesses until about an hour ago. Rinse, lather, repeat...

Central Texas has been hammered twice in the past week. Last night was a doozy.

    Love the rain, though

The disturbed weather near Florida is expected to eventually make Landfall in Louisiana between the Mouth of the Mississippi and the Texas Border.

So far, it is expected to be more of a Tropical Storm rather than become a Hurricane.

So a rain event rather than a wind event for Lafayette and other parts of Louisiana.

I finally bought a generator, which means we probably won't get a hurricane this year.

Your generator is my snow blower.

I named it Seamus O'Toole. Bring on the blizzard.

I bought one four years ago and we haven’t had a hurricane since.

Erin went from TS to Cat 5 in 24 hours. (Good thing we're defunding science.)

Thankfully, it doesn't look like it will hit land anywhere.

Just saw this too. Holy shiet that was a quick transformation. Warmer water. Earth spinning slightly faster. Last year we had one of the earliest hurricane cat 5 right? June ish I think.

At the moment, it looks like both Bermuda and the US are going to get lucky with Erin sliding in between them.
