Jerrah wants to deal with Michael Parson!

No wonder the guy feels a bit disrespected.

I was pleasantly surprised; I think the QB room in Cleveland just got interesting .................I just wish the kid would drop the diva BS. If they start out slow the fans will be calling for him to start

Speaking of the Browns QB room being interesting, Dillon Gabriel with some fighting words today after playing well. For a rookie, I thought he was exceptional. He threw a pick-6 early but I think it's mostly on the receiver for not even reaching for the ball.

I wonder what the over/under is on when Jaxson Dart replaces Russell Wilson as the Giants starter.

If you took a snapshot right now, he's the best QB in this year's draft.

One the opposite sideline, we learned is Justin Fields remains "not that guy". He's got 4 seasons under his belt and still cannot process. Maybe like Jalen, he just needs another year or two before bursting out into stardom.

Thought Cam Ward looked good too. Showed anticipation in the first two games which is usually the problem for rookies. But the WR group in Tennessee sucks so that could break him.

Saints have my vote as the team most likely to finish with the worst record. Tyler Shough and Spencer Rattler, SMH! Gonna be a long year for Kellen Moore.

The 1st half of Bears/Chiefs was a great watch.

Caleb Williams is gonna be just fine. He still has a few things to work on but IMO he's on his way to becoming an elite NFL QB.
It could have been who they were playing tonight, but I think the Bears might start the season a little slow before hitting their stride and finishing strong.

On the Chiefs side, the starters stayed in nearly all of the 1st half and they played like it was midseason. Getting blasted by the Seahawks last week probably gave them some extra motivation. Previously, my hunch was the Chiefs would falter this year and not finish top 3 AFC, but I dunno.

I don't know the behind the scenes of why Shedeur dropped but you can't teach being absolutely calm and fearless under pressure. Nothing rattles him. Yes it causes him to keep the ball longer than he should sometimes but getting rid of the ball is something that can easily be taught. Having your heartrate below 100 when there are 300 pound guys trying to pummel you can not be taught. That calmness spreads to the rest of the team.

Remember when Klint Kubiak was the hottest commodity ever, last season after they scored 40/50+ points in a few games to start the season? How'd that work out?

Against the Rams, Flacco play the first two series. Dillion Gabriel came in played fairly well despite missing a couple of throws. He has a ways to go. His timing and pocket presence are pretty good and he has decent speed when flushed out of the pocket. That fact he finished up the 1st half shows the Browns have him ahead of Shedeur.

In the 3rd and early 4th quarter, Shedeur looked like he was in slow motion. I didn't see any urgency and he looked defeated, discouraged and totally lost. His 5 drives were 3-and-outs. Their O-line did him no favors but he's too slow and indecisive and took 5 sacks.

During a halftime interview, the Browns GM strongly implied they will keep all 4 QBs. IMO, when Pickett gets healthy, there is a very good chance Shedeur is cut.

Do you remember these little helmets you could get in gumball machines? I was never able to get the Oilers or Cowboys helmets.

I think it was well known the Browns planned on tanking the season and drafting their QB of the future in 2026. But naming a 40 year-old that is sure to fail relatively early in the season as the starter and having two rookies with limited talent as backups is worthy of the Utah Jazz.

They are loudly announcing to every other team two weeks before the season even starts, "Just try and beat us to the #1 pick".

I have a question for the New Orleans Saints: Are you up to the challenge?

Parsons to the packers for 2 1st rounders, 4/188 deal. How can you trade a 26 year old legit superstar at a premium position, insane.

This trade gives the Cowboys a 2.5% chance at smiles and glory holes.
