Here's some education for you. PPI: Can be an early indicator of inflation — if producers’ costs rise, consumer prices may follow. Useful for businesses and policymakers to anticipate cost pressures. Example: If the price of steel rises for car manufacturers, that shows up in PPI before consumers see higher car prices in CPI.
You are completely out of your depth here. I would tone down the dorky GOOD DAY, and Educational Post stuff on this one.
Yep. My organic coffee I've enjoyed so much over the years? I was willing to pay $13 per 12 ounce bag. Just jumped to $16. I did the math and, no, I'm not paying that to Jeff Bezos (you can only order this coffee on Amazon; before, I could buy it in-store at Whole Paycheck). $13 was my price point, I suppose. I hate to drink sawdust coffee but Trump and his ignorant-ass tariffs. (Parenthetically, someone please explain to me how he's getting rich off tariffs. Tariffs on Brazil, for example, are political blackmail to extort that country into going easy on their insurrectionist ex-President. But other than "leverage" and cruel dickwaddery, is he somehow pocketing $$$ over this? I know he's stupid but did he really completely skip classes in business schools and pay the school to pass him? God knows he can't read but damn.)
Just bought an ice cream cone and a milkshake at a busted ass suburban Baskin Robbins cause everything else is closed. 18 bucks LMFAO Thanks Trump
This thread is about grocery costs. Had you bought the ice cream at the grocery store, instead of at Baskin Robbins, it would have cost 80% less. In fact one quart of Great Value ice cream at Walmart is advertised right now at $2.67. CHOICES
but at Baskin Robbins you support Sydney Sweeney. Say, Sydney Sweeney's initials are . . . SS. Oh em Gee . . . she's a NAZI
good news for vegans Beyond Meat Denies Filing For Bankruptcy In New Statement Beyond Meat is continuing to operate as normal https://plantbasednews.org/news/economics/beyond-meat-denies-filing-for-bankruptcy/
You'd never know listening to Trump's press secretary. She claimed grocery prices are lower as she stood there spewing her usual Trump butt kissing propaganda this week.
HEB brisket queso from $8 to...$15 https://www.chron.com/food/article/...ta_bluesky_link&taid=68a098462eef0e000129f385 Though for real if you buy that and you're over 40 and below 80, you deserve what you get (What you get is Coronary artery disease)
Fajita queso is vastly superior to brisket queso (not a fan of bbq on my nachos or tacos or quesos in general). I definitely wouldn't eat any of it often enough or enough of it to make it a health concern. Also, since you're a law-talking-guy...aren't bankruptcy filings public information? Either they did or they didn't, right?
The data has clearly shown that the tariffs have had virtually no impact on consumer pricing. Even last week's PPI figure was driven by services, not by tariff'd goods. What did have an effect on pricing was the USA increasing money supply by 60% to finance Biden's budget deficits. Inflation was the predictable result and the American consumer will pay a heavy price for many years due to Biden's profligate spending. The liberals gave us COVID, and the overreaction to it, and now want to try to pass the blame for the economic fallout. Voters are smarter than that... which is why Democrats hold almost no power in America. GOOD DAY
