Still find it crazy you would not allow the home team the same number of innings to bat. If the score was 1-0 home team going to the 6th and the road team scored 2 runs, ending the game without the home team batting in the bottom of the 6th is bizarre.
Sorry for your loss... (our pets dont deserve us, but are our anchor in our families / single households). I think we can all agree here no matter where/when/how we come from or ended up here, it's always easier to leave than to be left. Just know he/she lived its best days with you. Prayers for you and your family.
If that happened, the game doesn't end that way. If a regulation game is terminated early due to weather, the results are considered final if the home team is leading. If the home team is trailing, the results are considered final if the game is not in the midst of an inning when the visiting team has taken the lead. If a regulation game is terminated early due to weather and the game is either tied or in the midst of an inning in which the visiting team has taken the lead, it becomes a suspended game that will be completed at a later date from the point of termination.
A few years ago someone had a Stat (think it was broken down by catchers) of how much either the catcher or the staff allowed off of first base. Not sure how to find it.
A completely ignorant guess is that he has been focusing on framing which slows down his transfer? Edit: Nope - framing is worse too
