I love California, I lived in Upland (about 20 years ago) for about a year and was lucky enough to stay at my Bosses house as he traveled 90% of the time, when it was time for me to find a place I told him he would literally have to double my salary for me to live there I love it there, but dam I don't know how they do it.
yip, in the late 1970s, Calif was the 7th largest economy in the world. today, it has been elevated to be the 4th largest. as much as you project your inferiority complex about Calif, in 2024, ~ 20K Texans migrated to Calif, despite the state income tax and higher living cost, mostly young folks who work in tech.
