Looks like an experienced vet with starting experience that Caley and Cas have familiarity with. Definitely need some competition for Fisher until other vets get back.
What are yalls thoughts on the left tackle situation, with early returns on Ersery being positive there? In a way i kind of hope we start the season with him and Tytus on the outside. I know that leaves likely Ingram starting at RG, but if Ersery continues to look good it seems favorable to me to let him continue to develop there, rather than playing a one year rental in Robinson.
If Cam Robinson wants to start the season at LT, he better get well soon. It may already be too late. He’s a legit backup LT anyway, not a starter.
If he's healthy Cam's one of the 5 best OL on the team IMHO. I'm really looking forward to a healthy in shape Howard at RG and Ersery at RT with Andrews at C, That's a very good right side of the OL. Put a serviceable Robinson at LT and the OL will probably be middle of the pack.
Heck, if we can middle of the pack I would call that a WIN for who we have. It "seems" like the coaches are doing well on technique and culture but we dont really have any "Names" on the O Line which is fine, but I really wanted at least one OL that was a up and comer. Ersery looks like he will start and I am cool with that, I just hope he starts because he won the job and not necessity........but man o man is he a big boy. I am super disappointed in B Fisher, how anyone takes a step back with better coaches is very odd, at this point you have to know what you have in him and if he simply cant do it, then move on
Ersery is the real deal. I sure do wish they would've drafted Conerly to add with Ersery. With this said I'm really happy with last years draft.
