If it's the worst outcome for Hader, and let's be honest, the way things have gone this season we expect the worst...is there anybody in the minors that could come up and have a Bobby Jenks-like late season run? Somebody that can come up and just throw freakin gas in the 8th to set up Abreu in the 9th.
I’m prepared for the worst with hader. All the signs are there. The over use last year and to an extent this year. I’m guessing we are ****ed
My hyper-optimistic and non-medical supported reasoning why I think Hader will be ok..... It's shoulder, not elbow or forearm, so the only devastating injury would be rotator cuff related, and given Hader's low arm slot, I don't think his delivery has a propensity for rotator cuff issues. So I think it's inflammation or fatigue that will heal with a 10 day IL stint and rest, which I wouldn't mind him taking a breather anyway due to his use. Fingers crossed.
