Trump invoked emergency powers more times in his first 100 days than any other modern president has in that time. Experts worry it could lead to an upending of the constitutional balance of power.

The United States is currently dealing with multiple national emergencies all at once, according to President Trump. He says there is a national emergency at the southern border, also an energy emergency, also an economic emergency, to name a few. The president has wielded these to enact some of his most wide-reaching policies - policies from pushing fossil fuel production, to trying to complete the border wall with Mexico, to setting sweeping tariffs.​

Is democracy in peril this time he's in office? No, you just disagree with what he's doing. 77 million people including myself are very happy he's doing what he said he is going to do and this time the Deep State and judicial activist Nazis can't do anything about Trump carrying out the will of the people who voted for him. In fact I'm hoping some of those people like Chaney, Schiff, James, Fanny, Clapper, Brennan, Comey etc.... do jail time.

4. Dismantle civil service competence — Fire experienced government workers to break public trust in governance.
5. Install loyalists in key positions — Fill agencies with personal allies who prioritize loyalty over law.
6. Undermine the free press and create propaganda networks — Attack independent media and confidently repeat lies.
7. Blame scapegoats — Target marginalized communities as responsible for failures.
8. Attack institutions that defend civil society — Weaken law firms, philanthropies, universities that could resist autocratic moves.
9. Encourage private and state violence — Use militarized forces against dissent and normalize kidnappings, intimidation, and fear.
10. Cancel future elections — With opposition silenced or complicit, they stop free elections altogether.

Today, Trump cemented in Step 9.

How stupid or brainwashed do you have to be to believe a pathological lying con and felon is always the innocent one, whether it's fraud, rape, sexual assault, lying about secret documents in his possession, obstructing justice, bribing officials, or anything else, he is always innocent in their minds. So, of course these people are saying Trump isn't taking every single step he can get away with to move from a democracy to a dictatorship.

Everyone with more than half a brain who wasn't in his cult worried that Trump's attempted coup was only the beginning. He got away with being locked up, inserted die-hard loyalists, and feels invincible now. He's on a power quest, wants a military police state, and is taking revenge on anyone not bowing to his demands, not following his non-woke ideology, not reporting news as he wants them to, not willing to teach what he wants them to, not willing to fire who he wants them to, and so on. He wants loyalists only, who won't stop him from exerting more and more and more power, and a justice system that will lie for him, never investigate him, and will only go after his enemies.

Yeah, sounds like a wannabe dictator to me. Still a pathological liar, still spewing propaganda, still denying facts, and still spewing hate. Those disagreeing are either lying because they are so loyal to Trump, refuse to believe anyone but him, are just stupid, or are brainwashed. Gee, you wonder why they call it a cult.

 

Because it takes intelligence.

It's so ironic that a man who spent his career working terrorism and spy cases got purged from a field office and some kid with grocery store and lawn work experience got put in charge of terrorism.
