Easy: Thompson Green Flagg Bari Alpi 6: Sheppard - - OR - - Peasy: Sheppard Green Thompson Flagg Alpi 6: Bari these are problems that I would love for the Rockets to have...
I'm hoping he has a Rashard Lewis type offensive career but with more physicality.. I don't think he'll ever reach the potential of a star.. He has overpaid starter written all over him in 4 or 5 years because some team gonna empty the vault for him .. For now, he's perfect for what we're trying to do and beyond..
There’s debate. We’re a championship caliber team now. No rookie can come in and demand a starting spot on a championship roster. Nothing is given , it’s earned on this team. He’s rookie and rookies still had to learn to pay inthe pro’s . That’s how you kills a culture. If. I’m Dillon , Jabari, or Tari, I’m coming straight to Ime’s and Stones office if anybody gets drafted and handed a number one spot.. now if they play hard and show. It during the season. And earns a starting spot like Amen, I tip My hat and congrats
He has to earn it? Well duh! Flagg is already better than Jabari or Tari. He was better than both of them last year when he was on the USA Select team before playing a single college game.
F'n A Cotton! If Rockets get Flagg, could you imagine the team next year?? PG - Thompson (#4) / Sheppard (#3) SG - Green (#2) / Whitmore (#20) SF - Flagg (#1) / Eason (#17) PF - Smith (#3) / ..C - Sengun (#16) Sheppard playing backup PG / SG Whitmore playing backup SG / SF Eason playing backup SF / PF Smith playing backup C Thompson playing backup SG / SF / PF Resign Adams for sure and whoever Udoka says to keep from the FA's. F'n A!!
I remember that play too. I was like why they made him bring up the ball, essentially setting him up for that turnover...
It has been known that the Suns wanted Jabari but the Rockets would rather part with Jalen than Jabari.
I find this analysis of Jabari’s reads and decision making very interesting. If he continues to work on his reads, handling, and shooting he could be very instrumental for us.
They had no choice to trade Jalen because of contract matching purposes. Only other way to complete a trade with Jabari was to include Fred
I love Jabari. He's this teams Robert Horry. Different player but fits a similar role in the chemistry. A smart player with size and skill who has a knack for being in the right place at the right time. If/when we win our next championship, he will be one of the players Houston fans will love the most and one the rest of the fans in the league will respect post-mortem.
The Rockets would have rather traded any of Jabari, Jalen and I bet Tari over FVV so I’m not sure that by keeping Jabari they were showing wisdom or anything. We’re going to regret not trading FVV in the Durant deal but we’re so loaded it might not end up mattering.
