Huh ? You braindead cultists swore Trump would end the war within 24 hours. 9 months later the war is worse than it was ever before. Yeah but sure "leadership."

Its almost as if liberals were right for the past 4 years stating ending the war is difficult bcz of Putin and you morons were wrong like always ?

What did Biden do to stop the Ukraine-Russia war? Oh, nothing. Wait, Biden actually sparked the war with the efforts for Ukraine to join NATO (crossed Putin's red line).

Putin will tell Trump how pretty his hair is and Trump will fall in love with Putin all over again.

Yawn. Spewing the same recycled garbage. I dont know what you get out of lying all day while cosplaying as a Christian. You know lying will lead you to hell right?

France + Germany told putin in writing that they would veto any NATO application thus making your point null. Pentagom didnt help ukraine until after putin mobilized his army on the border. Its just sad when you recycle the same conspiracies

You definitely have some of the worst set of moral values of anyone on this forum. I simply stated as much which is true, you'd rather have a few more dollars in your pocket than be taxed and have the money go to help someone starving, sick, elderly, or disabled. Let's not even bring up the atrocities occurring in other countries. It's OK if you choose to be a shitty human being that's between yourself and your God.

No I would rather give money to charities of my choice rather than give my money to the Federal government to do with as they please. Many things like Planned Parenthood, DEI initiatives etc .. I would never give money too.

What dictator are you referring to? If Trump was a dictator don't you think interest rates would be lower today?

You just don't like the policies he was elected to carry out.

I would rather have 1 more penny in my pocket than have the government decide what to do with my money. I help plenty, by my own choice.

Is he even still alive? I do not disagree with him on the subject. Now once a person becomes pro-genocide that's not a left, right, or libertarian position...that IS evil. I would never wish to see mass killings of any humans on this earth no matter the reason since there would never be a valid one in my eyes.

I agree it is a massively complex ethical problem. However, it extends beyond the here now. Do we not have an ethical responsibility to future generations? Future flora and fauna? Reducing "by a fraction of a degree" is not the problem at hand. The current problem is how to stop increasing.

The amount of change needed will not be easy by any means and I don't know any serious person who thinks it can be "simply achieved." I think we do know enough to understand that every delay will make those questions and problems much more difficult to deal with. Individual solutions will differ from societal and global solutions and will likely conflict. People and places will not be the same. For instance, there will be communities that come to be thought of as more resilient to climate change, be that because of location or government. It won't take long before those places are priced out of the reach of most people, who will then be forced to settle for riskier places, exposing them to greater economic and disaster/physical hardships. I've always thought it better to make decisions now and suffer through the uncertainty now instead of pushing it to future generations and the one thing we can do that has the greatest impact is to reduce fossil fuel use quickly. The good news is that we have the know-how and the tech is coming along. Yet here we sit with the Pony Express riders running the country and prohibiting the stringing of telegraph wire, actively making things worse.

You also know my history and I've done more than read about climate change in an air-conditioned space. I've felt it in real time as experience becomes diminished in the face of changing conditions. I've seen communities wiped off the map in ways that would be unimaginable just a third of a lifetime ago. I've buried colleagues who would not have been killed in the same situation ten years before. I see my kids and their friends making early career educational and career choices under the assumption that the world will be much worse off in the future and it breaks my heart that they can't look at the future with hope. It devastates me that they are right and that it is my generation who benefitted the most and is unwilling to do the basic work to effect the change most desperately needed.

Uh huh...Trump's not getting a plane either blah blah blah and you refused to take my bet. That's virtually free money to send to any organization of your choosing if you are so convinced of it.

Libertarians, the oddest voting bloc in this country. "Keep getting your 3%"...

Silly. Especially given the massive amount of rhetoric pushing enemies and others so prevalent on the Right during the last 30 years. One example:

    https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/trump-democrats-enemies-within-rcna175628

By the way, that's the President of the United States talking, not some sophomore philosophy major from Humboldt University.
