I can't be the only one who expects him to hit the ball hard every time he's up at the plate. This is like vintage Bagwell barreling of the ball.

    Since April 22:
    .355 BA
    .918 OPS

Never saw much of him on Marlins. On Astros he is Chas McCormick airhead in Yordan's body

I saw him pitch in person against the A’s.
That was the only pitch that didn’t get hammered lol

Sanchez is kind of a dumbass, and it is probably what has kept him from being better - as he has a lot of talent. He isn't stupid, and several of his former teammates have said he is well liked, but he will every once in a while have mental lapses or make dumb mistakes.

Also wonder if being on a contender can keep him locked in during games. I can see players letting their minds wander playing for teams that aren’t close to the playoffs

Knowing Costanza he was more likely to be found sleeping in his locker than pitching a shutout......

Need to win this series. Toronto is playing the Rockies and Seattle is playing the White Sox....

So far that's an emphatic NO to that question.

It's unfortunately getting to a point where we need to look at the 3rd Wildcard spot between the Rangers and Yankees. Was hoping the Yankees could sweep, but the Yankees getting swept is now firmly on the table. Then that gets us to this weekend's all the important series which undoubtedly cannot go south on us.

My concern is no longer Toronto and Detroit.

I want ZERO to do with the Rangers in a 3 game series and having to mess with DeGrom, Eovaldi, and now Kelly. I am hoping hard they fall off somehow and miss the playoffs.

My prediction for winning the division
    40% Seattle
    35% Houston
    25% Texas

Dude how is being an Astros fan fun for you if all you do is constantly predict their failure? Sounds like a horrible way to spend time.

Good lord. Fangraphs completely disagrees - 56/35/8. Vegas has the Astros as heavy favorites - anywhere from -130 to -185

your pessimism is a major outlier and frankly not supported by any rationale.
