BPM and Net Rating are different from scoring efficiency which the other dude was saying. I never said Sengun wasnt the better player just that the other poster was claiming Jalen was "wasting shots" when he and Sengun had the same efficiency.

Not sure why you feel the need to trash Jalen Green do you realize he had the chance to veto the KD trade? He turned down his 6.4M trade bonus just so Rockets could finalize the KD trade. Dude did us a solid even as we traded him and you still hating on him. SMH.

    some people are just dumbasses.

I'm not riding his dick you are just making **** up. Just admit you were wrong about your "wasting shots" comment or are you saying Sengun was also wasting shots every time he tried to score the ball?

Whats confounding to me is you keep trashing the guy even when he is no longer here and did what he could to help the team.

Leave with JG? Bruh I've been here since 2008. Why dont you leave you only been here for 5 yrs.

Jalen told you out of his own mouth they had been trying to trade him since the season prior. It was widely reported that the nets turned down mikal for Jalen. The Suns initially were trying to find a third team because THEY didnt really want him. They couldn't find any takers.

That playoff performance wasnt THE reason people see him as a player not worth building around. It was just another data point in a long list of reasons why hes just not that guy.

Playoffs didnt distort anything since for most people with eyes it was just more of what was already expected since thats who he has been a majority of his career.

If he sucked that badly why did Rox even sign him to 30M a year? Nets valued Mikal so much and he went for like 5 frps. So Rox were trading Jalen for highly valued players. At the end Jalen got traded for Kevin Durant. Thats not exactly chopped liver lol.

And how does that change anything I said? He was still the 1B option to a 2nd seed team Rox wouldnt get to their record without him.

Look for the details on google JG basically turned down his 6.4M trade bonus so the KD trade will happen.

Jalen Green was and is a standout dude. The man knew he was being shopped around the league. But he still gave it his all. I respect Jalen Greens work ethic, he had a reputation for being a gym rat, he was a humble dude when dealing with coaches. I heard the Rockets really admired and respected him.

But for him to turn down a bonus $$$ trade kicker just to help out the Rockets, goes to show what a class act he is.

The Rockets are within a top 3-5 best chances to win the title. They are on the cusp of being at the zenith of the NBA scene. Unfortunately Green is still improving and there is no guarantee his shot will ever be in the realm of Kevin Durants silky smooth jump shots.

I hated to see Green go, but I absolutely am thrilled to see Kevin Durant on this team. His game would have propelled the Rockets over the Warriors, no doubt.

Per Yossi Gozlan, a top capologist:

Jalen had no ability to veto the trade. He also had no control over how much of the bonus he received. He took all that he was allowed. I did not know that salary-matching rules can dictate how much the player is allowed to receive … but apparently so

Thanks for doing the research, I was just going by what the previous poster mentioned. I wasn’t even aware before today there was a trade kicker to the salary. From the sounds of things, those trade kickers are exactly that, if the trade happens, they go in effect.

The Houston slander continues. On espn’ current main nba article they have 36 year old Durant as a 38 year old while talking about championship windows.

    Stupid espn lol

Are you able to follow and comprehend conversations? I specifically responded to your incorrect statement that Jalen's playoff performance is what "distorted people's view of him".

Maybe keep that in mind and read the post again and stop making up stuff in your head that I never said or even mentioned.
