I would say if you make that comparison outside Rockets fandom with people old enough to have seen Toronto Vince Carter, it would be a landslide victory for Vince
I tell ya, I was sour on McGrady after his departure but looking back, in his prime before his injuries, his talent and skill fell somewhere between Kobe and Jordan, and he has regained his spot in my All Rockets roster. I'll put him at starting SF with Harden starting SG. That, or slight Harden to Point and have McGrady at SG.
I actually think Harden had his best Rockets years basically playing PG even if he was alongside an actual one like Pat Bev. I think it's more than fair to list him at the 1 in All-time teams (much fairer than when people list Dream at the 4 so they can put in Yao or Moses, for example.)
I agree. I think I would actually roll out: PG - James Harden SG - Clyde Drexler SF - Tracy McGrady PF - Charles Barkley ..C - Hakeem Olajuwon Defense would be average but I think you would find it almost impossible to out score them.
Mine's a little more balanced I guess but only just: PG - Harden SG - McGrady SF - Ariza PF- Hayes C - Olajuwon
You don't think Elvin Hayes deserves to be on an all time list? Ariza is a personal favourite player, it's my list not yours, "lol, yikes" what are you 3 years old? Imagine saying "yikes" about somebody who put up over 25/14 in 4 seasons back to back? How embarrassing how little you know about Rockets history...back in your box poseur.

Yup, pretty sure Ariza and Chuck Hayes played together so I figured that’s what it was pointing out. Since he has Ariza on the all time Rockets team it’s not that much of a stretch that he had Chuck Hayes also. Chuck and Ariza were of similar importance to the Rockets anyway, both nowhere near the “all time team” lol. So that was my immediate association. Oh well. I stand corrected.
I don't expect him to be as a good shooter as him. Tmac was goated when it came to shooting. I do see Amen being a better finisher around the basket.
