Ohhhhhh, I get it. You don’t know jack **** about how any part of the business side of baseball works and you’re not willing to admit it or learn about it. Cool man my bad, carry on.

This is such a low risk high upside deal I don't see how anyone can complain.

His exit velocity is still as good as ever but his barrel %, walk rate, and launch angle have declined for whatever reason. He's been batting around .290 for the past 3 months but the power isn't there.

Maybe the change of scenery and a few adjustments will snap him back to his 2024 form.

We traded a 26 year old A ball pitcher with an 8 ERA and got back $33 mil. This is a stellar deal.

Astros fans deserve to have their legends in their uniforms. Correa is as close to a Harper, Soto level talent Houston can realistically hope to have long term given Crane’s organizational philosophy. Feels like a huge win for the city having our guy where he belongs.

Agree! Excited to see Carlos tackle 3B position. His energy and attitude are just what this team and fan base needed going into Aug-Sep. Love this trade and can't believe we only gave up a 26-year old High A SP... that's some miracle working there by DB and Crane.

I was afraid we get nobody and pivot to Arenado. The guy is absolute c**t. b****ing with Goldy that Cardinals are losing because no clubhouse leaders. Hmmm.....who do they think young players wanted to follow in that clubhouse? He wanted nice weather and team that wins a ring for him. Also he's been terrible and looks like long distance runner retired so 3B first step is gone too.And also he already rejected us so fk him.

This deadline went over any expectations of mine. Only missed on SP but the prizes were such that no suprise.

    -Correa.

-Sanzhes, power lefty OF. If he is willing to take some team AB's too after Correa schools him, this is a steal. We have him 26 & 27 too. Swings eyes closed everytime but over 800ops v RHP so it's first 4 bat against them, sits against lefties.

-Urias, don't need to play so many beerleague players. Utility.

-Gusto looked almost everytime ready to blow games so even with the good start just now Im reliefed he's gone.

-We basicly did't give up anything from roster or prospects. If we need to dump Walker year from now, we can put Paredes at first.

    So happy!!!!

Have feeling that with this health status of team still we will not crush hot Boston but can't wait for rest of the season. :). All the time CC has been in Minnesota, every player has said they have never met player more ready to help and give his time for teammates. Even vets saying that, so don't think he has changed....still a leader.

Stop the procrastination of your masturbation. Sad assassination your opportunity to spend more time with your bros. Your Astros takes are embarrassingly bad.

Paredes is Dana's guy. He's not going anywhere unless Dana is leaving.

Correa is Jim's guy. Unless he plays like shiet, Correa is not going anywhere.

2nd. The team prioritizes infield defense after witnessing what happened with Jose Abreu. Framber going to appreciate gold glove caliber players at every IF position.

You need a second baseman? He can play all over and in the past has been a good hitter. He bring a little pop too. Plus he was free.

Sorry, that is wrong. Famously 3 teams signed Correa to fat money. The Giants and Mets signed Correa over $300 mil over 10 years. Boras didn't want to renegotiate with them. Went to the Twins as a 3rd team. Boras ONLY could have gone team to team fully knowing there were multiple teams willing to pay big money.

So Correa is literally the case of multiple teams willing to spend big on him

1B... 2B or LF. He has to understand with Correa and Pena being elite defensive SS's.
