I don’t work for the Astros, but I have played and followed baseball for over 30 years. I have a pretty good grasp pf the skill sets needed to play positions on the diamond. If Isaac Paredes lateral mobility is sapped to the point where the only way to get his bat in the lineup is to use him at first base, it’s not hard to believe the Astros will look to move on from Christian Walker if Walker doesn’t find his hitting stroke by the end of this season. That said, since Yordan Alvarez also struggles to stay healthy, the Astros could keep Walker at first base and use Paredes as a super-utility player getting starts at multiple positions. That’s what he did when he started with the Rays.

gusto was a bullpen piece for us and very far from a playoff starter. it's ok. woulda been great to have more SP but you do the gusto deal 10/10 times
So who are the Astros starting pitchers besides Brown and Valdez? I’ll add Arighetti. I’m not convinced on Garcia or Javier.

Anyone have Gusto in the 5 or 6 man rotation moving forward? Valdez Brown Javier Arrighetti Walter (hopefully he's ok) Garcia France Seems like he was pretty far down the pecking order.
