I guess everybody's different. In his situation I probably wouldn't feel like I needed to redeem myself in any way to a bunch of fans that did nothing but target every single thing about me outside of my actual job, just to be petty and push their narratives. I'd probably be more likely to try and join one of their biggest rivals and throw it back in their face if I did blow up.

We didn’t even think of redemption. We did our thing for us. I doubt Jalen will ever think of the haters as anything other than haters. His loyalties will be with his boys. Maybe he vibes with his new teammates but usually the strongest bonds are made with the crew that you grew up with.

since the Suns don’t have a point guard, they really had no choice. While Jalen certainly improved making the right reads, his handle, processing and court vision aren’t up to the task of running an offense, in my opinion. But it’s been pretty clear post trade that their starting backcourt was gonna be Jalen and Book. Dillon should be fine at the 4, but their front court isn’t really starter caliber. They’re still gonna be a really bad defensive team. I’d bet the Suns finish bottom 4 in the west, but ahead of Utah and the Pels.

I think by All Star Break they would be an improved and trying defensive Squad but their Offensive efficiency would be doubtful.

They added young defensive talents, just needed to work on communication, a lot is communication on Defense.

I kinda lean towards the opposite in their 2nd Units.

Below average D and O though.

Would be fitting if they drafted a PG in the 2026 Draft.

PG is Jalen’s only position of physical advantage, he’s too small to defend or drive through most SG’s.

If Jalen can both shoot consistently from 3, and become a respectable playmaker, he will have the potential to be a starter quality player or better. Outside of those 2 things happening, he seems like the exact player teams would love to have as a 6th man.

I appreciated Jalen while we had him, although I didn't appreciate how wildly inconsistent he was before we traded our #2 pick in the first round. Should have taken Evan Mobley. Green could look damn good from time to time. It wasn't enough.

Jalen is what he is and it's been clear for a while his best role in the NBA is as a 6th man. Of course, he definitely doesn't want that to happen before his next contract.

I think the Suns could trade him before the deadline next February. They should realize early he can't play PG and really shouldn't share the court with Booker.

If he just mildly improves, Phoenix will get 2 1sts for Jalen. If he is roughly the same they will get at least one 1st for him. Players under 25 that are capable of multiple 40 point games are still a good commodity especially for re-building teams. I think he will play better in Phoenix because they will have a little better spacing than the Rockets had last year. Booker is getting the double teams not Jalen.

The Rockets tried for a year to trade Jalen and no one wanted him... to the point they basically had to force him on the Suns against their will. I don't think finding a trading partner would be that easy since the Suns don't have picks to add to entice someone to take him.

Two firsts for Jalen is pure fantasy. No chance of happening.

Playing for a bad team that will have very few meaningful games should his stats, but not enough to fool other teams that much.
