The is the Trump surrender tour. His tariff nonsense isn’t working and he needs to declare wins because of the Epstein pressure. Look for more declarations of Pyrrhic victories in the coming weeks. This is Foxconn nonsense x10. And MAGA will eat it up.

The best thing about this surrender tour is that this moves markets toward more certainty.

Traitor George needs to stop lying
    Trump the POTUS

infrastucture was tops on Trump's 2016 campaign agenda, his admin had infrastucture week on
8 separate occassions. but his inept/indifferent admin never bother to develop a plan for the bill
    Biden the POTUS

infrastucture was also tops on his 2020 campaign agenda. his team effected the signing of the
infrastucture bill in his first year in office

Incredible losses in tourism to America. What is going to make up for those billions in losses? They never talk about how negative foreigners are on America now. Never hear a word from Trump about it.

perhaps that explains why Lutnick, the so-called Commere Secretary and Ron Vara (aka Peter Navarro) were not
part of the US negotiation team in Sweden, where US and China will try to hammer out a trade deal

Well, I think we're heading there. Certainty is a win. It's something. What we now settle for is... just stability, lol. Not efficient government. Not smart government. Not lower inflation. Just stability.

Tariffs "as a negotiation," for those who bought into that, should now be clearly seen for what they are: not a tactic, but the goal itself. Tariffs are the feature, a "beautiful thing", taxes on imports that hit low- and middle-income households the most, and top earners the least. It's "beautiful" because it brings in revenue for the government, which is then used to offset or reduce taxes for the wealthy.

But this is a terrible idea, just like it was in the early 1900s. The top will benefit (from tax cuts), and everyone else will pay more, via inflation and a less efficient economy.

I'm convinced that the tariffs are just another way to get increase sales tax and reduce income tax for rich people so the tax system becomes more regressive. The so called consumption tax that they've been trying to sell to dumbasses for the last 25 years. .

The biggest winner in the EU trade deal is the American Worker. More jobs, more domestic investment, less inflation as tariff income kicks in and shrinks the budget deficit, more markets open for American goods abroad.

Trump continues to deliver for the AMERICAN WORKER.

Traitor Geroge publicizing his willful ignorance again.

while inflation has come down a bit, it is still higher than when Biden left office.
the tariff, a value-added sales tax, will lead to higher inflation.

inflation will hurt the us workers the most.

Here's what you are not grasping: Tariff income will reduce the budget deficit, just like it did in June (when a surplus was achieved). Longer term, the budget deficit is the #1 driver of inflation... when the US dollar is the global reserve currency... as more Treasuries are issued and the money supply effectively increases... more dollars in circulation means less value per dollar... which is inflation.

The economic growth that will come from Trump's tax cut will also help reduce the deficit. The Democrats wanted to let those tax breaks expire... which would have massively raised taxes on every American and gutted the economy. Trump put more money in Americans' pockets -- especially the working class (no tax on tips or overtime).

The actual CPI data shows that foreign producers are discounting products before selling them to American markets... effectively absorbing the tariffs. That's the data.

And the GAINS from this trade deal far exceed the costs. More family-sustaining jobs for American workers. Finally we have a President focused on the working class. Biden's inflation wrecked so many working class families' budgets and spending power.

Rich people get a big tax cut. Poor people get to pay more in tariffs.

The national debt keeps going higher. Republicans doing what Republicans do.

Tripling energy exports to the EU would increase domestic prices no? Increased demand, equals increased prices unless you can increase supply enough to offset it. But increased energy exports have been a promise in every one of these frameworks.

I'm guessing there is some stalling tactics that will go on before these deals are official (if they ever are) and if they do become official they won't actually follow through.

an adiitional tax, in the form of tariffs, generates a revenue stream for the Gov

traitor Geroge is confused / all mixed-up again.
    ..
the # 1 driver of inflation will be the tarifffs.

eg, the cost of an iphone will be ~~ $300 more expensive to consumers, driver demand down.
lower iphone revenue, most probably, will lead to layoffs,
which translate to lower income tax collection by the Gov.

    this is just for Apple..

apply that to all US companies, the impact wll be felt acroos multiple industires.
this broad-based decline in income tax, most probably, will exceed the added tariffs revenue,
    towards a bigger budget deficit.

How in the hell have the tariffs worked? Were all paying more for every day goods? Both Japan nd EU both said they arent making any investments and it's up to the private sector

What the hell have we accomplished by these dumbass tariffs? We arent getting any massive onshoring happening

Gm stock is down 10% AFTER the Japan trade deals while Toyota stock went skyrocketing. It is now cheap for auto makers to make their cars in Japan and import it rather than build it in america and deal with the 50% tariff in copper/steel.

That's the opposite of looking after American workers. Why are you people so braindead
