He is a savvy pitcher who I thought would turn into a Zach Greinke, lose some speed but hit the corners...........not sure if he is hurt or is just washed, but man, I hate to see this, he became one of my all-time favorites with the Astros

Anybody penciling in any 2027 dates or salary considerations should plan on some backup options. The players already had their issues with Manfred. This could be much worse than 94. (Edit: 2027)
Apologies... yes, I'll edit that year. You would hope there's some degree of negotiation or testing of the waters well before that... and if this is it, there will be no common ground on many of the issues.
