Loved Christian at Clemson. He was always very enthusiastic and colorful and pretty dominant his last two years. Didn't follow him much with the Dolphins, but it appears he peaked his final year and cashed in with the Raiders. Assuming he gets healthy, I bet he plays for the Eagles next season.
Weird situation. Team says "you need another offseason surgery" He says "no, I'll rehab it" Team says "you're not rehabbing for crap, you're cut, and voided"
Back to Mixon, I don't care if he gets a single carry in preseason, if he's ready by week 2 I'll be happy.
This is the first I’ve heard of Chubb not looking good. Payne and Pendergast were saying he looks like the old Nick Chubb. Of course impossible to tell until they put on pads, but is the consensus that he doesn’t look ‘back’?
Every year, every 6th rounder or UDFA has been "the surprise of training camp!" I wouldn't worry about a vet RB just yet.
I’m not … I just wandered what Stoops was thinking/seeing and if anyone else sees it. They guys I listened to seemed happy with Chubb … that said, they are also pollyanna’ish at times.
Vet RB is one of the most brainless positions in all of football. They know the blocking scheme, they can see the holes, they don't need multiple practices and preseasons to figure it out. If the Mixon/Chubb/Pierce/RB4 situation still sucks a week before Week1, then we should get a bit agitated about it.
He’s also suggesting Dobbins? Who’s been hurt more than McCullers since he joined? Doesn’t make sense, he’s just whining to whine.
I’ve been giving Nick and crew the benefit of the doubt because they’ve been killing it. But if this line is still garbage truck juice and he’s killing it I’m gonna have major questions going forward. yea it’s just camp yadda yadda yadda im still not sold on the plan they chose to go with regarding the o line
