I do scratch my head and ponder where Adams harnesses his strength from. His body mass is modest for his size.
It's been weeks since the trade and I have begun to miss Dillon Brooks. Is there a chance we can sign him once he hits FA back onto this team? I'm afraid our team is going to lose that "Dawg" in them now that Brooks is gone. He always sets the tone by getting into it with other players early and that fires up our young guys.
What are teams going to do about: Sengun/Adams Bari/DFS KD/Tari Amen Fred Doggiest 8-man rotation in the NBA?
He's from New Zealand. Kiwis, much like many pacific islands are known for big, strong af people. It's similar to the Samoans in wrestling all being absolute units even if they don't always look that physically imposing.
"Kiwi" can refer to anybody born or lived in New Zealand for a long time regardless of race or ethnicity. The native inhabitants are Maori and in the surrounding smaller islands were Moriori (now defunct). Adams is actually half Tongan. Despite being 7 ft he is a modest 265 lbs. They say he's strong but is he like Prime Diesel Shaq? Or even Wilt Chamberlain?
I couldn't tell you the genetic makeup. I just know I trained with Jonah Lomu and the All-blacks as a teenage Rugby Union player and I've never seen the level of strength those men displayed in flesh ever again. Didn't really seem to matter what the specific ancestors were, they were all absolute tanks lol, much more so than the other pro Rugby players I encountered at the time.
More than 20 when I met him. I'm 41 and I was either 14 or 15 when we trained with them. They were here in the UK for some big competition or other and used our ground to train in (I think they probably did that to a lot of bigger local clubs to give the youth players like myself that kind of "special experience.") Dude was an absolute monster tbh, I've never seen a human that size move so quickly or with as much agility.
