I want this to be good, but its so hard to make sequels any good......but hey it's on Netfilx so I will watch it
If the script was half decent there’s no way in hell it would be going straight to Netflix. I respect the hustle but Adam Sandler is obviously taking Netflix for all they have. I doubt I’ll watch it unless the full trailer looks more promising than what I see here.
This ain’t cable television from 20 years ago when terrible movies land direct to video. Sandler has an exclusive deal with Netflix. Has nothing to do with script quality. It seems to be a mutually beneficial relationship as they extended it recently. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/adam-sandler-managed-earn-more-121346614.html
Adam just be cashing checks I don't know if I have enjoy any of his Netflix offerings Some have been a'ight at best most are forgetable Rocket River
Has one of those movies actually been any good, outside of Hustle which was a serious movie and seems to be more Sandler’s forte now. He just lost the ability to be funny or is just lazy.
Dunno. He was 90s funny. It’s the 2020s. I don’t watch Boomer comedy, fam. Don’t tell me you like the puppet guy too.
Movie: C+ Nostalgia: A- Uncle John Daly and Boban stole the show. Plus getting all of those senior golfers together was cool.
i cant watch it. file this under boondock saints 2, super troopers 2, beetlejuice 2, coming to america 2, and now happy gilmore 2. movies i love to at least like a lot. ehhh i really love all of those. but when you wait 15-25 years for a sequel it doesn't interest me at all. top gun 2 (although from what ive been told it's decent and worth watching),
I enjoyed it and thought it was worth watching. Not nearly as good as the original, but Minch better than Coning to America 2
Not bad, had a handful of legit laugh-out-loud moments, great cameos (except Travis and Eminem), and Shooter McGavin was money. It’s pure nostalgia bait, and that’s exactly what it delivered. Didn’t love that a key character had to die, but it worked for the plot, and they still showed up in in the movie so its cool. I also liked that it’s on Netflix so I could skip through a lot of the filler. And props to him for putting his daughter in the movie. Solid movie overall.
Back when they used to have old-timers games at baseball stadiums... people still went, but they had full expectations of what sort of games (and abilities of those former players) they would see. That's what's happening here... nothing more, nothing less. Top Gun 2 was the unicorn.
