Todd Blanche, the DOJ lawyer questioning Maxwell was Trump’s defense lawyers in the Stormy Daniel’s case. He knows what a scum bag Trump is. He has attorney client privilege with Trump. There couldn’t be a bigger conflict of interest.

To the lawyers in the thread, can he even legally ask Maxwell questions implicating Trump or reveal incriminating evidence to his colleagues in the DOJ?

At what point exactly, what hard evidence do you have...none, just whatever your brain has conjured up from the uncorroborated snippets that have come out. They do realize that by "interviewing" Maxwell, it only increases the pressure to release the documentary evidence because people will want to see if Maxwell was telling the truth or lying, right?

This whole thing is a mess. Anyone, Democrat or Republican, who was involved in this should be named, shamed, and driven from public life if not into prison. If it turns out Democrats helped cover this up at any point through either commission or omission, they need to be primaried, defeated, and never welcomed in public again. I don't know about y'all, but I cannot belong to a party that covers up this kind of thing just to protect the reputations of their elected and wealthy members.

This last decade has felt like we have been inching towards a major realignment/upheaval in politics on par with the late 1850s or post-Brown and if this is the match that burns it all down, so be it.
