Why are we so fooled not pulling the trigger on these fastballs largely over the middle of the plate?
You implying Dana Brown forced Alexander on Joe and told him he's starting tonight? We in trouble if Joe is that far out of the loop. Sheesh.
Um...absolutely yes. There were probably conversations with the pitching coaches and other staff but Joe did not make the decision unilaterally.
Josh Naylor has a .220 batting average with 13 hits, 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 7 runs scored in 17 games against the Mariners on the road in his career. https://www.statmuse.com/mlb/ask/josh-naylor-at-seattle
You do know that the pitching staff decisions are a group think tank thing, right? Probably small % Espada
Yeah and look at what he was traded for...two mid level prospects. People on here have been saying we don't have enough for guys like Ryan O'Hearn lol
No coincidence this happens the day *after* ARI series ends. Astros still better though - prob 8+ games better by season's end.
It's kinda crazy as a fan to always be looking for something to blame on a 60-42 manager, but to each their own. I love second guessing but geesh.....
