Won't knock him too much for an off the cuff comment......BUT, Jalen should be in learning mode...His primary focus for the sake of his career should be trying to learn everything he can from Book who will be the best and most successful player he's played with. And bonus points because he plays the same position. I get that he's got to say he's trying to win, but Phoenix isn't winning anything.
I would think that would be the assignment unless they wanted Amen on Booker. Jalen isn't putting up 30 on FVV either, he'd get bullied.
I did find it interesting that he singled Alpi out. I always found it so odd that the respective fanbases were always so at odds when the players themselves seemed super close.
I don't think that's odd, that's par for the course. Sports fans are the absolute worst, and that's just one example of why. Star players often love playing together, especially when the team is on a positive, winning trajectory. You don't get Kobe+Shaq drama all that often. Even these days when one of the stars eventually asks to be traded, it's usually not because they don't like the next best player on their team.
